Sadhana Kitchen is Sydney’s first vegan, wholefoods and raw food eatery. We specialise in making food that is damn delicious and also vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free. Opening in a back alley Newtown 5 years ago, Sadhana now calls Bondi Beach home. Sadhana was born out of Maz Valcorza’s passion for deliciously healthy food and the notion that you don’t need to sacrifice anything to thrive in ultimate health. Sadhana means conscious spiritual practice in sanskrit and we believe that what we put into our bodies each day should be an important and considered part of our ritual. Previously a registered nurse, Maz quit her career in pharmaceutical sales to open Sadhana Kitchen, Sydney’s first organic, vegan, wholefoods and raw food eatery. Author of Uncooked & The Naked Vegan, she has been working with healthy vegan and allergy friendly foods for the last 5 years. Maz is also an Everyday Vegan on www.everydayvegan.tv where her role is to create and run online courses teaching viewers how to make healthy and delicious vegan food. She loves food and lives for sharing how easy and awesome it is to connect with ourselves, each other and our planet through nourishing our bodies and souls.



We believe that eating a seasonal plant-based diet is one of the most effective ways to improve our own health and that of our planet. We make almost everything in-house from scratch using 100% plant-based wholefoods. We use organic wherever possible and you can be assured that all our dishes are vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free and made with love.



Our menu changes every season so that we can utilise the best produce available at the time. We offer All Day Breakfast, a Lunch Menu as well as an extensive assortment of house made hot and cold beverages. We also make our own organic, raw and vegan treats in-house and our own vegan, refined sugar free soft-serve!



Sadhana is Sanskrit for “conscious spiritual practice”. At Sadhana Kitchen, we believe that what we eat each day should be an important part of our daily ritual. That’s why we do everything that we can to make sure that from ground to plate, every single link in the chain is as good for you, good for the animals and good for the planet as possible.
